We chose to include some simple Tree Nursery Wall Art in our baby's room. We created the painting that you see in the picture after we decided that we didn't want to have to paint the whole nursery or go over the top with an elaborate design only for our baby to quickly grow out of it.
After we thought things over, we decided to paint our tree design on just one wall and hang art and decorative items on the others.
Hubby designed the tree painting first by clearing and then cleaning the wall. Once the prep work was completed, he started sticking sheets of newspaper up. He drew the outline of the tree trunk and the branches on the newspaper with a pen and then removed the sheets by order in order to cut out the shape of the tree. We ran painter's tape around for the outline, painted the main section, then removed the tape for touch up and detail work of the tree nursery wall decoration.
Our wall painting technique included decorating the tree according to various seasons. We will cover it in snowflakes for winter and we have leaves and butterflies ready for spring and summer. There are also birds and animals to go on as and when needed. This way, our baby girl's tree nursery wall art can change and grow as she does and we hope that it inspires others that visit Unique Baby Gear Ideas.
