This baby website is a one-mommy operation. My sweet girl, Cassidy, was and is the inspiration behind Unique Baby Nursery Ideas. Cassidy and her sisters have made my already wonderful life truly complete. I was raised in a very small family and the first baby that I ever held was my own. And what a wonderful day that was when the nurse placed that precious little baby in my arms. For those of you who are expecting; what a treat is in store for you! For my visitors who have already given birth, I know that there is no need to tell you what an experience it is because you already know what a miraculous connection that you felt when you first saw his or her sweet face.

I had been involved in interior design and home decorating as a sideline occupation for years before my family started to grow. Becoming more focused on nursery themes and designs just seemed natural once I became involved in decorating one for my own child. From there, questions from my visitors about various items of baby gear and nursery equipment moved me to branch out a bit to do a few reviews and giveaways.

This baby website will always be a family friendly labor of love where moms can come to get inspiration from nurseries that others have decorated or to find unique baby items to create their own special room to welcome their newborns to their first home.
