Pink and Dark Chocolate Brown Nursery Bedding and Decor for a Baby Girl
The pink and brown polka dot nursery that you see in the pictures was decorated just for our baby girl according to the vision that I had for the project.
As delightful as the polka dot and stripes of the baby bedding is; it was just another aspect of my dreams come true.
I truly didn't care that the color scheme of the room was very gender specific.

You see, at the age of 39 I am more than pleased to learn that I'm having my first child, a baby girl! I am tickled pink the old saw "better late than never" just doesn't come close to describing the thrill of it.
The announcement of this blessed occasion got me motivated to fulfill my lifelong fantasy of a pink fairy princess room.
The more I looked at nursery pictures, the more I decided that an all pink nursery wasn't for me but I wasn't ready to toss a lifelong dream just yet. After studying a little more, I decided that a
pink and brown baby bedding was just right.
For a few moments I thought I was being so creative and clever but that was before I saw enough crib sets in these colors that my head was spinning! They all had started to blur together and then I saw the perfect
pink and brown polka dot nursery set. It was only after I bought it that I noticed that there would be both polka dots and stripes in my baby girl's crib.
This really got the ball rolling and I set about shopping for the best nursery lamp, curtains and even a chocolate brown waste basket with a pink satin bow.
In addition to the white baby crib is a similarly decorated daybed for those nights when my baby girl is sick and I may need to stay with her in her room until she is better. She also has a custom painted armoire that has been painted to look like a little girl's dollhouse.
The baby's changing table comes in handy for diaper and clothing changes that a newborn needs and the nursery rocker and ottoman decorated with cushions made of brown fabric with pink polka dots is great for reading books at bedtime and the baby pink chandelier and matching table lamp really put the finishing touch on my baby girls pink and brown polka dot nursery.
I could not be happier with the results. I believe that our baby girl has a room that any princess would be proud of!
