Nursery Tour: Jet Airplane Theme for Jett

When parents name their baby boy Jett, it just stands to reason that his room will be decorated in a jet airplanes theme complete with pilots on board to fly the planes. This is a nursery theme where the sky is the limit!




Unlimited possibilities is precisely what surrounds this lucky little fellow. His room has an open and airy atmosphere that includes blue skies and airplanes; there are lots and lots of planes as you will quickly see.




One of the first things Jett will see when he enters his room (besides the faces of his loving parents, of course) for the first time will be a variety of colorful aircraft flying overhead.

Baby Airplane Theme Nursery Room Decor

The size of this room allows for some gorgeous examples of vintage airplanes that put your everyday, "run of the mill" crib mobile to shame!

On the walls there is a beautiful display that adds a touch of vintage to the decor. There, trailing in the tailwind of an antique metal plane, is a colorful wall banner decorated with fabric cloud appliques. I think that letters spelling the baby's name appliqued on each flag would be really cute. I would have plenty of time to make a personalized airplane themed banner as a Christmas gift for my sister if I could only get my hands on a few yards of fabric left over from my soon-to-be born nephew's airplane baby bedding set. I'm going to have to scout out some scraps in her sewing room on my next visit.



The bright yellow nose of this plane is almost identical to the little kitchen that belonged to Jett's dad when he was a kid.




Flying, cooking; is there anything this baby boy won't be good at? Will he be an aviator, a chef or both?



The baby blue fabric of the baby's crib quilt is the perfect background for the cloud and plane appliques.




The navy blue color of the wainscoting is "all boy"!
