The yellow wall letters spell out Sophie's name. The pink wall paint color of her Winnie the Pooh theme nursery is the perfect background for them.
A sweet pink Winnie the Nursery for my baby girl, Sophie!
We painted the walls of our baby girl's Winnie the Pooh nursery in pink and yellow paint from Behr and added a white wooden molding as a chair rail to divide the colors.
I am delighted to share pictures of our baby girl's Winnie the Pooh Nursery and tell all of you about our Pooh project nursery DIY endeavors. It all started when I, Mom of baby girl Sophie, who always loved the Winnie the Pooh characters and storybook convinced her husband to use it as our baby girl's nursery theme.
We know that Pooh Bear is a very popular decorating theme, but never knew anyone to decorate a baby girl's nursery in Classic Pooh decor.
Deciding that this was exactly what we wanted we started our search for Pooh themed nursery ideas; we took different room elements that we liked and put them together.

The Disney Winnie the Pooh baby bedding collection that we chose is called Delightful Day. The crib quilt has all of our favorite storybook characters including, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet and Pooh Bear plus we found many other
Winnie the Pooh fabrics that we liked.
Using the colors in the baby's bedding as a guide, we chose pink and yellow paint from Behr. We painted the lower third of the nursery wall in the cheerful yellow color, the upper portion of the wall in pink and separated the different colors using wooden molding that we painted white as a chair rail. A wallpaper border was available with the crib set so we added the wallpaper border directly above the molding.
Needing some artwork for the walls, Dad got the nursery wall letters to spell out Sophie's name that we used to decorate the wall behind the baby's crib. The letters initially came in white. He painted them yellow and got a board to put behind or underneath them. These wall decorations added a lot to the looks of the room and personalized it.
The nursery furniture is the Storkcraft brand and all came from Walmart. The rest of the decorations for our daughter's room were gifts that we were given at our shower which we were so blessed to have received!
