Here's how to make a Mickey Mouse crib mobile for baby the DIY way!  As you can see from the picture; there are very few crafts supplies needed for this "easy-peasy" nursery decoration. 

There are several items in the following list of supplies that you probably have on hand. There is no hardware to buy like mounting brackets to attach it to the baby's crib or frames to built to suspend it from the ceiling.

How to Make a Mickey Mouse Crib Mobile for Baby

If the mom-to-be (you?) had a Mickey Mouse baby shower with black paper lanterns included in the decorations; you may have access to EVERYTHING you need to make this ceiling mobile.

If you don't have the black paper lanterns on hand, no worries; you can buy the one large and two small lanterns needed to make the mouse ears for less than $12! 

This is one of the easiest baby mobiles made with paper lanterns to make to hang from the ceiling because it's small and doesn't require a frame for support.

You will need: 

1. Thumbtacks (not push-pins) with white heads  or whatever color matches the ceiling paint color 
2. Cotton or clear nylon string 
3. Double stick tape to attach Mickey Mouse's ears (the two small lanterns) to his head (the large paper lantern) 
4. Two (2) small black paper party lanterns
5. One (1) large black paper party lantern

If you are decorating a large baby mickey mouse nursery and enjoy a challenge I would consider making a ceiling mobile like the one in the photo below using the traditional colors Disney used for this cartoon character, black and red.
