The creative genius behind the design of Hadley's yellow bird and owl theme nursery is Blair from the Ellwood Avenue Chronicles that features the latest in home decorating ideas.
Even though Blair is busy decorating her home, her blog and planning the nursery design for a soon-to-arrive baby girl, she has graciously offered to tell us about the pretty yellow nursery that she decorated last year.
Keep reading to get shopping resources and learn where Blair got inspiration for choosing fabrics and colors for her project.

Q. Did you buy the bird baby bedding as a set? The bumper and the crib skirt are from the "Lucy" collection from Serena and Lily that I bought and the fitted crib sheets came from Pottery Barn Kids.
Q. I thought I'd seen every nursery tree mural available but yours is very unique and I've never seen one like it. Is it a decal or did you have it painted? The tree, the owl and the birds are all decals that I purchased from an etsy vendor.
Q. The gold pattern fabric on the upholstered chair is lovely; did you already have this piece? The chair is from USA Baby and that's just one of the many different fabrics that it comes in!
Q. The baby's crib and dresser look as if they were custom made to complement the mantelpiece! Could you please tell us where you found them? The furniture is from the Munire' Bristol Collection. The crib is the Lifetime Convertible Crib.
Q. I know that our visitors will want to know, so can you please tell us where you found the nursery rug?The green rug in the pictures is another item from Serena and Lily!
I love the color but it's not quite as soft and comfortable as I might have liked. I would have been happier if it was softer and more comfy for our baby girls to crawl around and play on but I didn't return it because it matched the colors in the room so beautifully.
Q. Did you find the owl artwork on Etsy? The framed owl art was created by my brother-in-law who has a graphic design shop, Yours Truly Design. If anyone is interested in having some artwork created for their baby's room similar to these drawings, I'm sure that Dylan would be happy to do it!
I hope that everyone enjoyed the tour of Hadley's Yellow Baby Bird and Owl Theme Nursery as much as we here at
