Deep Water Necklace

The blue of the beads in the deep water necklace is amazing. It is so beautiful and the color is so bold. I just love it!
I have never heard of "Montana Beads" before that the jeweler mentioned, but I like the idea of blue beads and associate them with the blue of "Big Sky Country".
And the added note from the crafter stating that the necklace can be shortened is a reminder why it is a very good idea to buy from individuals. Personal service is something that you don't get from chain stores.

Je Le Veux Peridot Jewelry

The bracelet in the Je Le Veux Peridot jewelry collection on The Glass Willow is my favorite. I love the combination of the gunmetal rings with the peridot glass stones. Jaime's choice of metal in designing the bracelet is spot on and gives the piece a rustic yet classy look that is modern and edgy.
I noted that she mentions in the description that she made the bracelet to be snug fitting. This is a very attractive characteristic because I prefer my bracelets not to sag and be loose on my arm. Even then, the designer mentions that she would be willing to custom fit if requested which given that my wrist is small would be appreciated. I also see that Je Le Veux Peridot Jewelry is available as a set with matching earrings and necklace, but I think I might prefer to mix things up with the plain "Peridot Necklace" and the Tortoise Earrings rather than a matched set.

Candy Earrings

I love the bright colours in the glam candy earrings. The hot pink beads are just great all by themselves. The combination of the lime green (transparent saucer beads?) and orange beads with the bright pink brings all my favorite colours together.
When I saw them on the Glass Willow my first thought was that if I could make jewelry, that I would make a pair like these for myself.

I like the Je Le Veux Collection Necklace with the clear crystals and the 18 inch chain. The peridot necklace from the collection with the same name almost got my vote. The peridot jewelry was pretty but I like the look of the clear crystals with the gunmetal rings.

The THE GLASS WILLOW's silver lotus necklace that I found at the sponsor's Etsy store is just beautiful. Something about it is very modern yet the pink resin bead and the antique silver caps combined with the gunmetal chain adds a vintage feel to the jewelry.
I believe that is what I found very attractive in the Glass Willow's jewelry. There were many earrings, necklaces and bracelets that were a mixture of styles that could be worn with everything from jeans to a business suit like the handmade silver bird earrings that I hope to win in Unique Baby Gear, Nursery Themes, Decorations and Decorating Ideas Giveaway contest.
And photos are just great I love colors and the designer brings a lot to the table as far as color is concerned.

Bambi Earrings for a New Mom Gift

I love the Bambi Earrings for a New Mom Gift. I chose these earrings because first of all I love deer but I also thought about a baby shower that should be coming up in the next few months for a friend of mine who is decorating her baby's room in a deer or forest nursery theme with Bambi, Thumper and bluebirds.
These little earrings would be so nice to include as a little something for my friend in addition to the baby bracelet that I was going to buy as a shower gift.
The silver deer are adorable but I also love the little hearts and jewels decorating the ends of the chains. Come to think of it the giveaway's silver bird earrings or the Bambi earrings would both work with my friend's nursery.

Of course I would choose the Pick Your Bird Necklace and earrings since I surfed in to the free jewelry giveaway looking for a pair of silver bird earrings.
The little bird charms on the necklace are not silver, but I believe they would look lovely in combination with the birdy earrings offered as prizes in the contest.
All of the handmade bird charms are so cute and very unique on the Pick Your Bird Necklace. It is easy to see that fimo clay charm was sculpted professionally with care and respect for the medium.

Caterpillar Earrings

These cute, beaded caterpillar earrings are my favorites. I have seen similar hoop earrings with beads like these but I never noticed how much they look like a caterpillar until I visted The Glass Willow. I like the light green color of these earrings and the beads really do look like the body of a caterpillar if you are willing to use your imagination just the tiniest bit!
The description in the artist's etsy store says that she formed the jewelry by hand using stainless steel which she then smoothed and decorated with the little pale green matte beads and silver balls.
Another detail that I appreciate is that they are a little over an inch long and that is the perfect size for me.
