Here's a cute gift idea for an elephant baby shower that you can make yourself!

The stuffed elephant toys are soft and while it's always mom's decision as to whether or not any item is baby friendly, I would feel alright about using them for my baby since there are no buttons to come loose since the eyes are appliques.

I'm thinking it would be a great gift idea for an elephant baby shower to sew one of the stuffed elephants full size and scale the pattern down to make a smaller elephant; VOILA mother and baby elephant!

If you're a hostess looking to stretch your shower budget, you might consider sewing some that mirror the graphics on your elephant baby shower invitations to use as table decorations that might be presented to the new mother or to the guests as favors at the end of the party!
