Fuchsia Pink Really Gives a Baby Girl's Nursery a Bright Look
by JB
Pops of bright fuchsia pink in this baby girl's nursery are the perfect complement for the soft, grey nursery wall paint color.
A Bible verse, Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, is framed in fuchsia pink with baby Emerson's initial and a girly bow atop the subway style wall art
A fuchsia pink and gray nursery is an excellent choice for moms that love the look of blush pink and grey nurseries for baby girls but want something more eye-catching. There is simply no denying that this color combination is a guaranteed attention getter.
There is no better color for visual impact than fuchsia; it makes a bold yet feminine statement as the following nursery pictures will demonstrate.
Speaking of pale pink and gray which was Tami’s chosen color scheme. Her dream was to design a room filled with romantic atmosphere and yes…a girly look. As she entered into the decorating process her vision changed into one of the sweetest little fuchsia pink nursery designs I have seen in a while…maybe the prettiest ever.
As so often is the case, Tami fell in love with a color combination and her original, romantic, soft pink design morphed into an eclectic fuchsia pink and aqua blue nursery with soft gray walls.
Gray is the neutral paint color of choice in many modern nurseries for boys or girls.
The Ung Drill mirror from Ikea was spray painted to match the
Kumari Garden Jeevan Pink Baby Bedding Fabric Mimi used to
make a ruffled crib skirt using Krylon Short Cuts spray paint in a color called "Hot Pink".
The mirror comes in black and is lovely but WOW…I love
this mirror painted pink as well as in black or even white.
Jeremiah 29:11 and other inspirational baby girl quotes are included as decorative accessories.
Emerson's initial, the letter "E", the frame of the Bible verse and a pretty ribbon tied in a bow in pink complement the color of the mirror's frame over the crib.
The next pop of pink is introduced via the lovely pillow arrangement on the window seat. The unique
chandelier and the
homemade curtain valances give visitors a special treat when their eyes are drawn upwards in the space.
Tami, states in the
nursery reveal on her blog that Ikea was her "go to" shopping resource when decorating and buying accessories for her baby girl's fuchsia pink nursery but that she got lots of decorating ideas from Pinterest. In my opinion, they were very good ones; I love Emerson's nursery and I know that you will want to see more photos! Buzz on over to Tami's blog (via the nursery reveal a line or two above) and take a look
