My husband and I are both nature lovers and wanted a forest nursery theme for our baby boy that is filled with baby deer, owls and other woodland creatures. When we learned that we were expecting a baby boy we wanted to find a style of decor that was unique.


That would have special meaning to us and the forest theme was just right.

With that in mind we decided on forest nursery decor for our little boy's very first room.

In the crib we have green baby bedding with a patchwork baby crib quilt and bumper that has several different forest animals pictured. The baby mobile is also decorated with creatures found in the forest.

The tree that you see on the wall in our nursery pictures is a cherry blossom tree. Not pictured completely, are little birds that hang over the wooden molding at the top of the nursery window and the baby's laundry hamper that has a baby deer theme.

I have been looking high and low for woodland nursery ideas that include more than owls and deer. I love the hedgehogs on the patchwork crib quilt and I think that I can draw a pattern for them and the bear and applique them on a quilt that I am working on. I love your tree wall painting, too.
