Our baby's royal blue and orange nursery color scheme is just one of the ways we support our favorite team! Gotta love those Gators!

My husband and I are huge fans of the Gators so we had the idea for a Florida Gators football nursery theme for our baby boy. We found out we were having a boy so we decided to do his entire room in the team color of the Gators! We designed the baby's room to have a stadium effect.



The color scheme, the crib bedding and the DIY projects that we tackled were all chosen to reflect our love of the Gators.

We have had so many friends that visit the room, take one look and then say, "WOW! You guys have really got to share your baby boy's nursery pictures with other fans!

So, I am finally getting around to sending the photos in to be included in this blog's photo gallery and telling everyone how we decorated
our sports theme nursery.


The top quarter of the wall up to the ceiling is royal blue and the bottom three quarters of the room's wall is painted bright orange. We installed 1.5 inch thick trim painted white to make a clean break of the part of the wall that's painted orange from the royal blue. Then we chose official Florida Gators wallpaper border to decorate where the walls meet the ceiling. It looks AWESOME!

We have a BIG Florida Gator head sports nursery mural on the top front Gators nursery wall. This is a blue and orange baby nursery featuring the colors of the team's mascot. We also have a Florida Gators lamp plus the entire crib bedding set is made of fabric in a Florida Gators print as well as the baby mobile. The mobile is baby Florida gators and it is just SO cute!
