This elegant twin boys nursery is just delightful! The beautifully decorated nursery was designed to be masculine to pass muster with dad, a concern of many new mothers.

Blue and brown is one of my favorite color schemes for a baby's room. The dust ruffle on the twins' cribs is an antique ivory and baby blue stripe that appears to be the same fabric used for the crib canopy and it would be lovely if the pictures of the nursery gave us a peek at the baby bedding set.

The twins' luxury cribs are unbelievable but they are just one element of the overall design and you might be able to duplicate this room's decor on the cheap by using a less expensive crib and buying vintage light fixtures that might need cleaning and rewiring rather than brand new chandeliers and wall sconces.

Getting cheaper cribs is just one way to copy the twin boys nursery for a cheap price with similar results. You would save a couple thousand dollars by getting less expensive cribs, but you would also save a bundle by picking up a pair of used bed crowns.

I don't think that I found the exact ones in the picture on the website, but similar ones were on sale for over $600 each!

And you can buy a used set online for that amount or less if you're willing to buy some made of that lightweight plastic stuff and paint it gold and then antique them to make them look like painted wood.

I also found antique white and baby blue stripe fabric similar to the fabric in the pictures of the twin boys nursery that you could buy at a very cheap price...the problem is that to make the crib canopy AND those ruffled crib skirts you would need a lot of yards of fabric and it's hard to find fabric on sale at a discount when you need that much. Just my two cents on how to copy that twin boys nursery for a cheap price.

the expensive part of the drapery around the beds would be the short time you should have it there. You would need to take them down before the little ones could stand to ensure your child's safety!

Very beautiful, and this whole idea could be done fairly cheap. Correct getting cheaper beds is a start. As for the canopy's. All you need is a nice trim painted gold, than buy fabric yourself, and sew dust ruffles, and create your own canopy. Google has a ton of DIY stuff. So even if your pockets arent heavy.... "this is possible!" :P

This is a beautiful room but totally impractical for a newborn. There is nothing wrong with it but it's not for a person who is on a budget and has to watch their money.

Would I do a room like this for my boys if I had unlimited funds? You bet I would!

This is beautiful and so tastefully designed but very impractical. Mom had better enjoy it because once the boys get a little older they will not appreciate elegance.
