I love this Eddie Bauer Teddy bear crib set because it has a modern look and is less rustic than the patchwork teddy bear baby bedding set that I used in my baby's nursery a couple of years ago. Plus, I like the cute little bumblebee applique on the bumper and the crib quilt.

In the earlier verson the crib quilt had a homemade look with mix and match navy blue and plaid pattern fabric alternated with squares decorated with embroidered bears and the bumper pad was a deep chocolate brown that looked nice with the red and blue.

As you can see, the teddy bear baby bedding set that I had for my son is well used and I would like to find another one that has a similar color scheme than the new Eddie Bauer Teddy Bear Crib set in the stores right now.

I'm expecting another baby boy and wanted to decorate a teddy bear nursery theme for him first because I like the theme and second because money is tight and I can reuse most of my first baby's teddy bear nursery decorations.

There is certainly a different look in the first Eddie Bauer teddy bear crib set that you used and the one that you say that you found in the store recently.

I was wondering if you might get a quilter to copy the crib quilt of the original set using a similar color scheme and skip using the bumper? You could dress things up with a cute bear blanket and fitted crib sheet and use your existing decorations as you planned.
