The first step we took in decorating our baby's Dr. Seuss Truffula Trees Nursery was paint the room!
I knew I wanted the room to look have a look of the outdoors with a view of the grass and sky.
To achieve this, I put up painters tape and my husband and I painted the top two thirds of the nursery walls blue and the bottom third green.
Go here to see more . We bought an arrangement of small cloud decals from Target and next we made a custom order on etsy.com for the Seuss Truffula trees wall decals. I couldn't find any Dr. Seuss inspired
tree nursery wall decals that I liked so I determined that this was my best option!
After the walls were painted and we had found the Dr. Seuss wall decals we wanted, I went about arranging the furniture before looking for the little extras.
I found the Dr. Seuss artwork on etsy.com, the clock on Amazon.com and I painted the outlet and painted the Seuss themed switchplate covers myself!
Basically, everywhere I went I looked for decorative items that were Dr. Seuss related. I was given the small Dr. Seuss boxes at my baby shower and found it was perfect to hold pacifiers!
I love the overall look of the room and really enjoyed putting it together! I hope that
Unique Baby Gear Ideas' visitors have enjoyed our baby's nursery tour as much as I enjoy seeing other parents' projects in the photo gallery!
