Dr. Seuss Decor Horton Hears a Who Baby Nursery Theme Wall Mural
Planning the baby's Dr. Seuss decor was frustrating to both my husband and myself in the very beginning of the decorating process. But after lots of hard work and some improvisation on the nursery's decorations and we finally wrapped our minds around what we needed; the room turned out great!
Before we began, my husband and I knew that we wanted to do something different for our baby's room.
We have ideas for DIY Dr. Seuss Décor that you can make yourself!
We decided that a Horton Hears a Who nursery theme would be cute after a few project brainstorming sessions.

After checking out other parents Seuss themed DIY projects and taking note of the ones that we felt would work with our space; we were ready.
Dr Seuss Nursery Wall Decorating Ideas
We did some research into nursery painting techniques so that we would know how best to get the walls decorated in our chosen theme.
After developing a plan of action my husband used a projector to trace the pictures onto the wall and then hand painted the rest of the nursery mural.
Dr Seuss Nursery Ideas
The biggest challenge that we encountered in completing the nursery's design was that we couldn't find a set of baby bedding specifically designed for a Horton Hears a Who nursery theme.
We worked around this problem by shopping for blue elephant baby bedding sets! The colors in the crib set were perfect for our room and what is Horton after all but a big, blue elephant?
