I call this nursery design "Bun Bun Bunny nursery theme" for obvious reasons; rabbits are everywhere! I created this inspiration board for a baby girl nursery that I will be decorating for a friend of mine in the near future. She is expecting really soon, the week of Easter to be exact.

Now What


The bunny baby bedding set has been ordered and is on the way. It can't arrive soon enough since we are waiting to see it in person to make a few last minute decorating decisions like what color to paint the wooden wall letters that spell the baby's name and whether the lavender shag rug or the adorable nursery rug with the rabbits and carrots would suit the room better.

We "hopped" ahead and ordered the crib mobile since the bunny rabbits appear to be in a neutral, gray color and we felt they wouldn't conflict with the colors of the crib set but we are still on the fence as to how much bunny art is needed to decorate the walls beyond the baby's monogram.

Table lamp selection depends a lot on how much money is left in the budget. The mommy-to-be fell in love with the princess bunny lamp but agreed to re-purpose a white lamp left over from the bedroom's previous life as a guest room if money runs short. The inexpensive toppers would bring the lamp shade inline with the bunny nursery theme if money starts to run out.

What a sweet, tender baby room. I have a boy and wondered if you have a rabbit design for boys like a Peter Rabbit design. I've been looking but it is very hard to get rabbit baby bedding and stuff for a baby boy's nursery.
