My husband and I just kept thinking of ideas for our baby's black, white and green nursery! We intitially painted the lime green and white stripes on the nursery walls and once we got started we then just kept adding and adding and finally came up with a twist on the Frog Prince theme.
We found a picture of a princess kissing a frog and my artistic husband did his own drawing replacing the princess with a likeness of me. Once his artwork was completed we framed it and hung it in our baby's room.
In addition to the striped wall painting technique and the frog prince picture, we also added an outline of a tree in the corner to complement our black, white and green nursery color scheme. We detailed the tree using a rope and created branches that reach across the top of the window.
We weren't able to show it in the nursery pictures but there is a painting of a black castle to add to the frog prince theme of the nursery on the other wall. In the baby's bed you tell that there is a set of lime green, black and white baby bedding that reflects the colors that we chose for the room.
My husband and I love the fun colors in our baby's room and hope that you will vote for our baby's black, white and green nursery to win the nursery pictures contest!
