I need help finding a Bassett baby crib assembly instructions manual for a Bassett crib model 5004-1512. The job number is listed as k-2108 and the date of manufacture was in 1988.

Do you have instructions for Bassett wood baby crib, model no.5049-511; Job no. K-1426B, Jan. 1980? All this information came from sticker still on this baby bed that is still in excellent condition. Purchased in late l980's.

I may be a little late and I apologize for this but I was in the same situation where I had received a passed down Bassett baby crib with no instructions manual.

The person who gave me the baby bed never gave me the instuctions but when I entered the model number of the crib on Google I learned that the crib was included in a recall.

Since that time, I've been surfing the web trying to find the instructions online or a copy of the instruction manual.

I hope that someone that stops by this site and sees my request might be able to help but I'm not that hopeful because the crib is pretty old.

They advise that all older Bassett cribs manufactured before 1972 be replaced because they put improved safety features into place that year.

Have you spoken with the consumer department about the Bassett crib instructions that you need?

On their website, they say that if you need assembly instructions for any of their baby furniture or other products that you should use the form to contact them with what you need including the model and manufacturing date which you have. The only problem that I see that you may have is the age of your baby bed.

Most manufacturers don't address any issues or carry parts for cribs over a few years old but it never hurts to ask.
