Visit your local discount store, buy a package of card stock in whatever color you need, load your printer and you're good to go. Actually, it's not quite that easy but almost! You also have to find the graphics that you want to use for the front of the card, decide which font you want to use for the wording and adjust the layout. After a little trial and error you will be printing professional looking homemade baby shower invitations in no time flat!

Tips
You will naturally want your illustrations and pictures to complement your baby shower theme and colors. Here are some ideas:

• A classic example would be simple baby blocks clip art with the ABCs on the front of each block stacked one on top of the other. You could tuck it into the top left hand corner of your invitation and position your wording towards the right hand margin of the card.
