Ideas for Baby Arrow's Home In The Forest Nursery decor were inspired by our little boy's name: Arrow. We have a vision of our child growing up with a strong and adventuresome spirit, at one with nature and just loving life for what it is.

We chose an earth tone paint color to serve as the background of the room, matching it perfectly with the rustic gray trim and whitewashed flooring with grey accents.

The whimsical birch trees around the room were hand-painted by me. The colors included in the nursery wall mural were hints of teal and copper.

I also painted some tame forest animals, like the baby deer nursery wall painting that can be seen in the above pictures, to watch over our Arrow while he is sleeping.

We hand built a totem pole to enhance the "outdoorsy" feel of the space and to bring in that WOW factor that every nursery decorating project needs.
