Our entire baby ark nursery is themed around baby animals that would have been on the Ark. The design of the crib quilt and its border are all in this theme!

Brandi, I posted the above baby bedding set to provide an example of the baby quilts and crib sets that are available to parents who might like to decorate a Noahs baby ark theme such as the one that you have decorated and described.
What I love about decorating a baby's nursery using the Noah's Ark Bible story as inspiration is that the theme is so flexible as far as a color scheme is concerned and that it's ideal for twins.
What some parents (read: DIY decorators) have discovered is that beyond the crib set, there's no need to decorate in a broad variety of animals. They can place the focus on the animal of their choice and use its influence to determine the colors used in the room. For instance, in a baby girl's nursery the zebra would be an excellent choice since zebra print is so fashionable right now. For a baby boy, baby blue elephants or lions and tigers with an earth tone color palette would be very stylish.
