Avery's Dream Nursery Decorated in Pink and Brown

The tree wall mural with pink flowers was painted for my baby girl's nursery by a wonderful friend
Chalk Boards - Restoration Hardware
Casing - Where I ended up displaying her baptism dress
I searched for examples online for ideas to use in Avery's dream nursery decorated in pink and brown. I made lists of items that I liked in baby girl nursery pictures that I found online and in home decorating magazines.
I just looked at one photo after another taken of baby's rooms, picked out the things that I liked from each one and added it to my list.
A trio of rose balls in varying shades of pink hung from the ceiling by lengths of wide, chocolate brown ribbon form an elegant mobile.
I also went shopping in stores that specialize in nursery decor for 6 months to see what was available in colors that I liked and pick up some baby room ideas as I went. I found a lot of things that I wanted to make myself and to buy that worked with my decorating budget.

I added Avery's baptism dress to this shadowbox that offered a background of Eiffel Tower graphics and other Parisian or French themed motifs.
Obviously, if you had all the money in the world to spend on baby bedding and decorations anyone could create a dream nursery for their baby girl.
I made an arrangement for the wall using round chalkboards from Restoration Hardware hung with the same chocolate brown, satin ribbon used to hang the floral ceiling mobile.
The challenge of working within a budget to create the best nursery you can is half the fun.
