I got decorating ideas for my baby boy's vintage circus nursery theme from some vintage circus posters that I found. Until I spotted them I was having a very difficult time choosing the decor for my baby's nursery. I knew that the look that I wanted was not something that everyone else had done. I wanted to design a room that was not too babyish that was in keeping with the rest of our home that was built over 100 years ago in the early 1900s.

When we were blessed with a son, the many
baby nursery ideas That I had been brainstorming for a baby girl's room were shelved. I began to shop Ebay auctions in earnest searching for some
vintage nursery inspiration.
When the vintage Barnum and Bailey and Ringling Brothers circus posters caught my eye, I thought, "Perfect! A Vintage Circus nursery theme it is!".
The first nursery decorations that I bought were some antique reproduction circus prints that I had framed in antique white picture frames.
Then I painted the ceiling and walls of the vintage nursery to like a circus tent and then shopped for old-fashioned kids circus toys made of tin and other trinkets that would add to the baby's circus to display on the book shelf.
The nursery's color scheme is dusty blue, white, and chocolate brown with red accents. All of the colors in my palette have an aged look about them to keep the room's vintage look and feel.
All of our baby boy's vintage
vintage circus nursery theme decorations refer to the Big Top including red striped pillows that are reminiscent of boxes of circus popcorn and circus tents while the wooden baby mobile that I bought on Ebay is more straight to the point.
