I'COO Infinity Rock Star Baby Stroller
It seems that every day we hear news about a new rock star baby stroller of one type or another, celebrity baby carriers and designer diaper bags in the news being used by the newest celebrity mom. But the real deal would be either the Targo or the Pluto I'Coo Rock Star Stroller!
Bon Jovi and fellow designer musician Tico Tores launched their new and probably only the first of many strollers, The Infinity Limited Edition - Rock Star Baby stroller. A hip cool rocking baby stroller with classic good looks.
It's considered by some to be a less expensive version of the Bugaboo Chameleon/Cameleon and comparable to the I'coo Infinity. The Rock Star Baby Stroller was designed for the cool, hip rock star set so what else should we have expected?
Think about it, if you were Jon Bon Jovi and you had a buddy who
wanted you to design a stroller with him...what would you name it? The Baby Rock Star Stroller of course!
Who would've thought back in the 80s that there was a working designer's brain under those gorgeous Bon Jovi curls? Heck...Who cared?

I go along with the company in that the materials utilized are top notch. When I first went to check the Rock Star Baby Stroller out, I thought that BonJovi's marketing team and I were about to part ways. I went expecting "cutting edge" to jump out at me. I expected to be met a completely streamlined modernistic stroller. That's not exactly what you get. The Rock Star Baby Stroller is modern technology and multi-function melded with old fashioned
common sense effort to take care of a baby's and possibly a Celebrity Mom's needs!
At first glance when the stroller is in newborn bassinet mode, The Rock Star Stroller
actually brings to mind a simple English style pram.
Colors offered are your standard beige and black, gray and black and all black.
Rock Star Baby Stroller Facts:
-
The frame does seem sturdy. This model is not a lightweight stroller weighing in at 24 pounds, but sometimes you sacrifice lightweight for a solid piece of gear
- Swiveling front wheels which are lockable, which is handy for straight strolling
(maneuvers and steers great!)
- The rear wheels of the Rock Star baby stroller are air pumped pneumatics to give baby an easy ride. It also has a complete bassinet that makes this a stroller you can use from birth. The removable hood could be just a tat larger
- Reclining seat with multi-positions
- Rain cover
- Graco Snugride Infant Car Seat Adapter
- Air Pump for the rear tires (if experience tells me anything, you will need it for any stroller with pneumatic tires!)
- Reversible Seat so that you can look at baby or baby can see the world
- An adjustable handle (something a stroller should not be without!)
- Shopping basket
Folded size = (34.5 x 17.5 x 17.5 inches)
A FEW THOUGHTS AND SUGGESTIONS:
This is a classy stroller that I would be happy to own. But, while black is the color of chic, I have enjoyed all the bright color choices I've seen other models flashing this spring. Plus, I happen to think bright colors are a good thing when walking with baby. The weight limit for the Baby Rock Star Stroller is 33 pounds. That seemed low to me, but that's the limit they set in the brochure. This stroller would appear to take care of a family's strolling needs to age three or thereabouts, but I defer to what the manufacturer sets as the limit.
The $499 price tag seems to be etched in stone. I have searched and that's the only price
I have found the Rock Star Stroller to be tagged with. There are some places where you can buy that offer free shipping for that price, but other than that I've not seen any price variation whatsoever.
We look forward to the next model from this hard rocking partnership. Perhaps they will branch out to supply their friends some choices in jogging or double strollers!
